Juliana Le Prevost
Manager and Teacher of French
Meet Juliana, manager and director at the Language Workshop. Hailing from the beautiful Reunion island, Juliana brings over 15 years of experience to the table.
With a strong background in French language education, Juliana is known for her dynamism, creativity, and passion for teaching. Her commitment to innovation and her dedication to fostering success have led to numerous achievements, including guiding students to success in GSCE and A Level examinations. During her free time, Juliana enjoys spending time with her family, including her 4 dogs and she has participated multiple time to the Eisteddfod piano as she is a keen musician!
Soraya Chapellier

Meet Soraya, our enthusiastic teacher for the After-School Club and Holiday Club as well as our office assistant.
Graduated in 2025 with a level 3 qualification in sport, Soraya brings her wealth of experience in coaching and organises sporty and fun activities for the children.
Known for her vibrant energy and dedication, Soraya is adored by the children. Her dynamic and engaging approach ensures that every session is filled with excitement and fun. Soraya is deeply committed to creating memorable experiences for the children, and her dedication means you can always rely on her.
Sally Perriam

Meet Sally born and bred in Guernsey. She has a son and a daughter, and in her spare time she can be found with a good book and a cat or two on my lap. She also love anything arty, especially drawing pet portraits.
Sally graduated from the University of Exeter in 1990 with a BA in French and Education.
She was a teacher at Hautes Capelles primary school for over 30 years and was in charge of Modern foreign languages for the last 5 years, teaching French to years 2-6.
She has always enjoyed working with children of all ages, so her early retirement didn’t last long! She has been working for the Language Workshop for nearly a year now and feel honoured to be part of such a friendly and enthusiastic team.
Léon Plevin
After school and holiday club teaching assistant
Meet Leon, our young yet remarkably Teaching Assistant who has been a valued member of our team since September 2025. Having lived in France for four years, he developed strong French language skills while remaining a proud Guernsey local. Leon is known for his positive, can-do attitude, reliability, and genuine commitment to supporting children in their learning and development.
Outside of the classroom, Leon is very sporty and active. He enjoys cycling, walking, going to the gym, and playing football, which helps him connect well with pupils and bring energy and enthusiasm to his role. His approachable nature and strong work ethic make him a highly respected and appreciated member of our team.
Melanie Cour

Meet Melanie, our wonderful French teacher working on a part-time basis.
Melanie is a French primary school teacher and trained educator, passionate about teaching and sharing knowledge in a friendly, supportive atmosphere. She places great importance on the cultural dimension of language learning and focus primarily on oral practice to help learners gain confidence and real-life communication skills. I enjoy meeting new people and creating positive, engaging learning experiences. On a personal note, she has been living in Guernsey since October 2025, and in her free time she loves running and cooking good food.

Gwenaëlle Relinger
Meet Gwenaëlle, our native French teacher who is passionate about sharing her language and the richness of French culture.
Teaching French is more than a profession for her — it is a true vocation. She enjoys meeting learners from all over the world and creating a supportive environment where students feel confident, motivated, and comfortable expressing themselves in French. Her aim is to make learning enjoyable while helping each student progress and discover the beauty of the language.
After gaining experience in Spain and spending several years in Montpellier teaching french to people from all over the world, she chose to move to Guernsey to start a new chapter abroad.
When she is not teaching, she enjoys hiking or walking around the sea and taking pictures of landscapes.
